Aims
The aim of this workshop is to discuss Norwegian cases of development cooperation such as Development Studies in University of Bergen, Sudan project of the University, and Norwegian type of development aid and to compare them with Japanese cases. We hope to learn the roles and possibilities of universities, research institutes, NGOs, governmental international cooperation agencies in various development aid projects. Furthermore, we hope to explore the significance and roles of anthropologists/anthropological perspectives in various international cooperation projects.
