Research Projects
Taking advantage of the excellent breadth and depth of its ethnological and anthropological resources, the Museum is carrying out various pioneering projects, and in doing so, tries to transfer the benefits of its ethnological and anthropological research to society. With its incorporation as a National Institute for the Humanities, the National Museum of Ethnology went through a drastic reorganization of its research structure and adopted four major themes for its core research projects. Joint research projects and individual research projects include research themes related to core research projects.
